Abstract

We use modified uni-traveling carrier photodetectors in conjunction with a Ti:sapphire-based optical frequency divider to generate 10 GHz microwaves with +14 dBm power, <3 fs absolute timing jitter and phase noise floors of −177 dBc/Hz.
