Metamaterial-Based, Gradient Index Beam Steerer for Terahertz Radiation

Abstract

We designed and fabricated a metamaterial-based beam steerer that deflects an incident terahertz beam by 4.2° due to an implemented gradient index structure. We characterized it using THz-TDS with three-dimensional subwavelength spatial resolution.
