Abstract

A 3-GHz femtosecond Raman soliton source (tunable between 1.06-1.22 μm) is demonstrated based on an Yb-fiber laser. The resulting source produces 350-mW average power at 1.22 μm with 40-nm bandwidth and ~100 fs pulse duration.
