Terahertz Plasmonics and Metamaterial-Based Optics

Abstract

We demonstrate gradient index optics for terahertz radiation based on passive and active metamaterials. Furthermore, we experimentally investigate the tailored focusing of a highly confined terahertz surface wave on a gradient index meta-surface.
