Abstract

Dissipative solitons from an all-fiber Thulium-doped fiber (TDF) ring oscillator are generated by using optically deposited single-wall carbon nanotubes as the saturable absorber (SA) and high numerical aperture (NA) fiber of measured normal dispersion is introduced to produce large net normal dispersion at 1.9µm.
