High-Bandwidth, Single-Pole Control of Intracavity Power in a Mode-Locked Laser Based on Co-Doped Gain Medium

Abstract

An intracavity, low insertion loss graphene electro optic modulator enables more than two orders of magnitude higher bandwidth for modulating the intracavity power in a laser based on co doped gain medium than traditional pump power modulation.
