Integrated Bragg Gratings in Spiral Waveguides

Abstract

We demonstrate a compact Bragg grating in a silicon-on-insulator spiral waveguide. A 3.12 mm long grating with a bandwidth of 0.27 nm has been experimentally realized within an area of 141 um×146 um.
