Graphene-controlled Terahertz Plasmonic Laser

Abstract

For the first time, we demonstrate that monolayer graphene can control surface-plasmon modes in terahertz lasers. Integrating a graphene-coated, multi-band filter, varied in situ by electrochemical gating, individual modes can be switched on and off.
