Broadband Supercontinuum in As2Se3 Wires by Suppression of Two-photon Absorption

Abstract

We report the generation of a supercontinuum spanning over 1260–2200 nm in a 10 cm long As2Se3 wire pumped at 1550 nm, by avoiding the effects of two-photon absorption normally observed at this pump wavelength.
