Feedback locking of slot-type optomechanical oscillators to external low-noise reference clocks

Abstract

We demonstrated feedback and harmonic locking of chip-scale slot-type optomechanical oscillators to external low-noise reference clocks, with suppressed timing jitter by three orders of magnitude at close-to-carrier offset frequencies.
