Wavelength Tunable Selectively Intermixed Quantum Well Laser

Abstract

We demonstrate a monolithic Fabry-Pérot laser in which the wavelength is tuned by electrically steering the laser beam over a gain medium consisting of three laterally adjacent selectively intermixed quantum well regions.
