Ultraviolet-shift supercontinuum generation by cross-phase modulation in photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

We report the experimental demonstration of the supercontinuum extended to ultraviolet region of 200-400 nm by the effect of cross phase modulation between the anti-Stokes signal at 400-550 nm and pump soliton.
