Abstract

We demonstrate self-organization of an optical waveguide toward a luminescent target by self-focusing to enable “optical solder,” namely, a self-aligned coupling of two multimode optical fiber cores in a photo-sensitive organic/inorganic hybrid material, SUNCONNECT®.
