All-optical control of optofluidic ring resonator filled with magnetic fluid

Abstract

An all-optical controllable optofluidic ring resonator based on a silica microcapillary filled with magnetic fluid is proposed and demonstrated. A tuning sensitivity of 0.15nm/mW and a tuning range of up to 3 nm are achieved.
