Observation of free electron density oscillation in filamentation as a function of carrier-envelope phase

Abstract

The free electron density in a 40 mm long filamentation generated by carrier-envelope stabilized few-cycle laser pulses is detected in a circular loop. The oscillation of electron density is observed as a function of CEP.
