Femtosecond Optical Parametric Oscillator Frequency Combs at Harmonics of the Pump Laser Repetition Frequency

Abstract

Various schemes allow femtosecond OPOs to produce pulses at harmonics of their pump laser repetition frequency, ostensibly facilitating access to widely-spaced tunable frequency combs. Here, we show not all approaches possess equivalent carrier-envelope offset characteristics.
