Frequency degenerate two-beam coupling in organic media using a single nanosecond pump

Abstract

We present degenerate two-beam coupling in a organic dye solution using a single nanosecond beam where the probe originates from a Fresnel reflection and the phase and frequency shifts are the result of transient self-phase modulation.
