Impact of Higher-Order Dispersion on the Performance of a Kerr Frequency Comb as Affected by the Generated Dispersive Wave

Abstract

The dispersive wave generated from the higher-order dispersion perturbation is found to limit the Kerr comb performance in microring resonators. A negative fourth-order dispersion can potentially reduce the effect of dispersive wave.
