Sub-Two-Cycle Millijoule Optical Pulses at 1600 nm from a BiB3O6 Optical Parametric Chirped-Pulse Amplifier

Abstract

We report on the generation of 10.1-fs, 1.5-mJ pulses at 1 kHz from a BiB3O6 OPCPA with passive CEP stabilization. This light source is promising for the generation of high-flux isolated soft x-ray pulses.
