Multichannel Wavelength Multicasting for QAM Signals Free of Pump-Phase-Noise using Flexible Coherent Multi-Carrier Pump

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate pump-phase-noise-free 2-to-7 multichannel wavelength multicasting for QAM signals using flexible coherent multi-carrier pump. <0.4dB penalty is obtained after multicasting with the proposed scheme even using 3-MHz-linewidth DFB laser as pump source.
