Experimental Demonstration of Differential Synthetic Aperture Ladar

Abstract

Differential SAL measures phase slopes to reduce the inherent sensitivity to piston phase errors during the data collection process. The first experimental demonstrations of the technique and comparisons to image based phase compensation are presented.
