Abstract

Cr3+ fluorescences excited in Cr3+ 4T1 level for Cr:YAG and Nd/Cr:YAG powders were measured. The energy transfer efficiency from Cr3+ to Nd3+ was increased from 68% to 78% with increasing concentration of Cr3+.
