Passively Q-switched Ytterbium-doped Fiber Laser Based on Mechanically Exfoliated Black Phosphorus

Abstract

Few-layer black phosphorus (BP) is a two-dimensional material. BP was fabricated by mechanical exfoliation method. We have experimentally shown that the Q-switched pulse was generated in Yb-doped fiber laser based on the BP staturable absorber.
