Abstract

We demonstrate MDM-TDM PON utilizing self-coherent detection at OLT and RSOA at ONU as both downstream OFDM amplifier and upstream OOK transmitter. 30 dB bidirectional power budget is achieved after 10-km few-mode fiber and 20-km SSMF.
