Polarization-tracking-free PDM IF-over-fiber mobile fronthaul employing multiband DDO-OFDM

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a polarization-tracking-free PDM IF-over-fiber mobile fronthaul with only a simple optical filter at each receiver for polarization demultiplexing the corresponding signal band. Both spectral and cost efficiencies are largely enhanced.
