Photonic Crystal SOI RF Filter for Channel Equalization

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the operating principles of a silicon-on-insulator interferometer for channel equalization purposes. The radio frequency filter is reconfigurable thanks to thermally controlled photonic crystal coupler and delay line.
