Chirped-Pulse Amplifier System Based on Thulium-Doped ZBLAN Fibers

Abstract

We demonstrate a chirped-pulse amplifier system operating around 1900 nm using thulium-doped ZBLAN fibers. Pulses with a duration of 150 fs are obtained with average output power of 2.5 W.
