Titanium dioxide enables visible integrated-evanescent Raman sensors

Abstract

We explore titanium dioxide (TiO2) for visible evanescent Raman sensing and observe >100× greater than previous reports. Furthermore, we demonstrate TiO2 micro-ring resonators to enhance both pumping efficiency and Stokes emission.
