Dual Coherent Sampling with Low-Speed Digital Signal Processing for Monitoring Carrier-Phase-Drifted Constellations

Abstract

We propose dual coherent sampling technique, aiming for monitoring coherent multilevel signals by using slow-speed digital signal-processing. 10-Gbaud QPSK signals are experimentally captured at 500 MSa/s, statistically tracking laser phase drift.
