SOA-Based Tunable Fiber Ring Laser With Intracavity MEMS-Tunable Fabry-Pérot Filter

Abstract

We report a SOA-based fiber ring laser around 1.5 µm with an intracavity MEMS tunable Fabry-Pérot filter for wavelength selection. Quasi-CW electro-thermal tuning of 103 nm with a maximum output power of 1.3 mW is reported.
