Abstract

High-performance photonic integer and fractional-order Hilbert transformers, with processing bandwidths above 350 GHz, are experimentally realized using laterally-apodized Bragg gratings on SOI wafers, demonstrating the notably increased tolerance to fabrication errors offered by this technology.
