Precision polarization-maintaining Er optical frequency comb based on a nonlinear amplifying loop mirror

We demonstrate an ultra-low noise all polarization-maintaining (PM) Er fiber frequency comb. Mode-locking is induced by a nonlinear amplifying loop mirror (NALM) with the incorporation of an additional phase bias.
