Highly phase-coherent stabilization of carrier-envelope-offset frequency with graphene modulator on SESAM

Abstract

We modelock and stabilize the carrier-envelope-offset frequency of an Er:Yb:glass laser with a monolithic device consisting of graphene modulator and SESAM. Residual phase noise of 17 mrads, from 100 Hz to 1 MHz, is achieved.
