Stabilizing carrier-envelope phase of a low repetition rate laser using a hybrid reference pulse train

Abstract

Single-shot carrier-envelope phase (CEP) of a 10 Hz laser was stabilized to 558 mrad (rms) by employing a high-repetition rate reference pulse. This method can be used for CEP stabilization of high-energy, low-repetition lasers.
