Dispersion Pre-compensation for NFT-Based Optical Fiber Communication Systems

Abstract

A method for compensating the effect of dispersion is proposed for optical fiber links based on nonlinear Fourier transform. Using this method the transmission bit rate is significantly increased, and the PAPR of input signal is reduced.
