Intense Terahertz Field Generation via Two-Color Laser Filamentation at 1 kHz Repetition Rates

Abstract

We report the generation of intense THz fields (15 MV/cm) at kHz repetition rates by two-color laser filamentation in air. We find the refocused THz spot size can be maintained small even with long filamentation.
