Themo-Optic Oscillation Dynamics in A High-Q Lithium Niobate Microresonator

Abstract

We report intriguing thermo-optic oscillation dynamics, for the first time in a high-Q LiNbO3 microresonator that results from combined effects of thermal refraction, thermal expansion, and photo-refraction.
