Abstract

5.9-fs (RMS) timing jitter integrated from 10 kHz to 5 MHz (Nyquist frequency) is obtained from a 10-MHz picosecond all-polarization-maintaining Yb-fiber laser. An optimized spectral filtering bandwidth for the lowest timing jitter is found by numerical simulation.
