Microfiber-based few-layer black phosphorus quantum dots saturable absorber for mode-locked fiber laser

Abstract

We demonstrate an erbium-doped fiber laser mode-locked by using a microfiber-based black phosphorus quantum dots saturable absorber. The generated pulses demonstrate the operation of this material in the near infrared region.
