Light-activated artificial synapses based on graphene hybrid phototransistors

Abstract

A novel light-activated artificial synapse based on graphene/nanotube hybrid phototransistor is reported. Tunable synaptic weight and short-term synaptic plasticity behaviors are for the first time demonstrated using optical laser pulses.
