Fabrication and Characterization of an As2Se3 Optical Microwire Cladded with Perfluorinated CYTOP

Abstract

We demonstrate linear and nonlinear optical transmission results of a highly nonlinear As2Se3 optical microwire cladded with perfluorinated CYTOP. This polymer enables the operation of the microwire in mid-infrared wavelengths up to >2.5 µm.
