Highly Efficient Tunable Raman Soliton by Optimized Chirp at 2 µm

Abstract

High efficiency femtosecond Raman soliton generation up to 97% is demonstrated by optimizing chirp value in a Tm-doped silica fiber laser. The output wavelength can be continuously tuned from 1.98 to 2.31 µm.
