Abstract

We demonstrate high-precision spectroscopy of acetylene using a narrow-linewidth diode laser at 1.5 μm. Modulation-free laser output is obtained with a linewidth of a few kHz and a stability of 3.6×10−12 (averaging time = 1 s).
