Abstract

Instead of frequency-sweeping in the microwave domain, wavelength-sweeping is proposed for BGS measurement, based on which the decoded Brillouin wavelength shift exhibits sensing coefficients of 7.3°C/nm and 160µε/nm in standard SMF.
