Monolayer WS2 Enhanced High Sensitivity Plasmonic Biosensor based on Phase Modulation

Abstract

A monolayer WS2 enhanced surface plasmon resonance biosensor is proposed. We theoretically and experimentally demonstrate that the sensitivity could reach to 3.5×104 deg/RIU, which was 300% higher than that of the conventional configuration.
