128-fs Pulses from a Kerr-Lens Modelocked Yb:LuO Thin-Disk Laser

Abstract

We discuss different configurations of KLM thin-disk lasers based on Yb:LuO. We achieve shorter pulses than previously demonstrated for this gain material in the thin-disk configuration and up to 11.0 W in 184-fs pulses.
