Microwave frequency-doubling based on a coupling-modulated silicon ring resonator

Abstract

We demonstrate microwave signal generation with frequency doubling using a coupling-modulated silicon ring resonator at critical coupling. The average electrical harmonic suppression ratio is around 20dB (29dB) for 5dBm (10dBm) input microwave power.
