Broadband high energy breathing laser at 1.6 µm

Abstract

We demonstrate a broadband high energy breathing fiber laser at 1.6 μm with a robust configuration. It delivers 52.4-nm flat optical spectrum and about 3.9-nJ pulse energy by 220-mW pump power.
