Abstract

A standing-wave optical trap integrated with confocal Raman spectroscopy enables stable trapping and characterization of individual single-walled carbon nanotubes, graphene flakes, biological particles, SERS-active metal nanoparticles and other nanoparticles based on their increased Raman fingerprints.
