Abstract

We present a mid-IR OPCPA laser producing multi-mJ femtosecond pulses at 1kHz. The beam profile of the 3.1µm idler is excellent, enabling efficient coupling into high-gas-pressure waveguides, required for phase matched 1keV high harmonic generation.
